PDH new look....new logo.. new slogan

PDH New Logo

Year 2015 came and PDH had a new packaging. We decided to have a new logo and a new slogan. We believe that change is inevitable and some changes are meant to improve, as we grow as an organization.

PDH Old logo
From the old logo, which we used to represent PDH a little over a year, we retained the pink, gray and black color scheme. We believe this represents our group which is described to be colorful, bubbly and distinct.

The old slogan was " Dogs Unite Us, Not Divide Us". This slogan served its purpose. Members were one and united in promoting PDH and were able to gather a handful of committed and active members. Others were quiet, still observing but we are hoping that someday they will be able to interact with us. As with every family (and other groups), we cannot avoid misunderstandings which led to some members (and friends) to leave. So, we thought the slogan needs some modifying, something that will really represent Pro Dog-a-Holic as a group and its members as individuals.

The logo is a silhouette of a pink puppy. Why silhouette? It is because we believe that PDH can be represented by any dog, with breeds and Aspins alike. Everyone is welcome, everyone is equal. The head is heart-shaped to represent our love for dogs, that we care for them and for each other. Credits to Ms.Mae Domingo for this very creative and original work of art.

Our new slogan is "We Inspire". With the countless dog groups coming out, we cannot avoid imitation. From how we run our group, to how we invite members, to how we encourage member interaction on the wall. Honestly, we (the admins) don't mind. In fact, we feel proud that others are inspired to copy what we have started. No copyright infringement made, no big deal. What is important is that everyone is happy.

OUR SLOGAN
"We Inspire"

Pro Dog-a-Holic is a Facebook group created in April 30, 2013 with sincere intentions of building a healthy online community of dedicated canine owners. We envision a group that shares the same compassion and enthusiasm for dogs to develop unity and friendship amongst us.

OUR VALUES

We believe that dogs contribute positively to our quality of life and have much to teach us about patience, respect, solidarity, responsibility, loyalty and unconditional love.

We believe every dog deserves to live out until their golden years, months, weeks or even days in a place of love, security and peace.

We believe dogs are not a disposable commodity; rather, they depend on us to care for them through all stages of their lives.

We believe in working with diverse organizations from across the country that share our fundamental values.

We believe in honest, respectful and open advice to fellow owners that would help preserve the quality of upbringing their dogs deserve.

We believe in providing educational support, advocacy, and sharing of best practices for those who are new to owning one and even to those who are producing to breed responsibly.
