Doggie Picnic Day Up the Hills Part 2

We welcomed 2015 with a bang!
Our first major event for the year,

Doggie Picnic Day Up the Hills Part 2.

This is a sequel of the very first PDH Doggie Day Up the Hills last 2014. We received a positive feedback from the members which led us to organize a Part 2.

A week before the event, to promote and invite members to join, we had a number of online games in partnership with our sponsors. The members enjoyed and participated and the winners were announced during the event.

The venue was at Tagaytay Picnic Grove and it was a festive mood for everyone. Members started to come in early to enjoy the cool breeze of Tagaytay. We also welcomed walk in and those around the park who were curious with what is happening since they saw a pack of big and small dogs alike.

We started the event with a Puppy Class facilitated by Mr. Dackie Beii. The members were very attentive since this was aimed to share knowledge about their fur babies. They participated by asking questions and a token was given to them from our generous sponsors.
What is picnic without foods? Some members were generous enough to share food for everyone. It was indeed a very delectable feast.

Others also brought their own "baon", nevertheless, it was nice seeing all of us eating together, bonding like one big happy family.

After lunch, there was a pack walk since all of us were full.
We walked around the pack with the banners and tarpaulin of our sponsors.
We also had a group picture taking (of course) at the end of the walk.

When we arrived at the hall, the games started. The admins prepared a lot of games overflowing with prizes. Group and individual games were participated by eager members. There was a Scavenger Hunt sponsored by MySassy Puppy wherein the contestants need to go around the area to find the items on the list. A Finding Doggie game was also participated by some members. They need to look for doggie icons around the park. A surprise awaited the members who gets the logo of our sponsors. All Aboard was a newspaper dance game, though there was a twist. All participants need to stay in the newspaper without them stepping out. This was surely a fun game. So Blaster, one of our sponsors too, facilitated an owner and dog milk drinking contest. Everyone thought that the owners will be drinking a goat's milk. Not! We just led them to think that it's the milk that their doggies drank, it's just a fresh milk, of course. A pabitin full of prizes was lots of fun. They need to get the prizes with their mouth!

Make & Bake sponsored a cake Decorating contest. Participants enjoyed the game, even their doggies can't wait to eat the decorated cakes. This was very entertaining!

Lastly, St. Roche sponsored a Treasure Hunt Game. Participants need to go all around the venue to look for a particular station wherein they will be doing a consequence before being directed to the next one. They surely won an overflowing of prizes.

To all the members and non-members who shared their time with us during the Doggie Picnic Day Up the Hills yesterday, we are truly grateful.

We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did.

To Philippine Golden Retrievers and UNITED DOG LOVERS PHILIPPINES , thank you for the support!

All these generosity, we give back to We are Proud Guardians of Aspins & Puspins.

Words cannot express our gratitude to all of you. Congratulations to all of us....and that's because.... WE INSPIRE !
