For the Rescued Dogs: Animal Kingdom Foundation's A Kingdom for Hope Event Coverage

Animal Kingdom Foundation, Inc. (AKF), in partnership with Eton Centris and organized by Paws & Tails Grooming Salon and Boutique, successfully held A Kingdom for Hope last April 27 at the Centris Walk Activity Area, Eton Centris, EDSA cor. Quezon Ave.

A Kingdom for Hope is an adoption drive event that aims to raise awareness against the illegal dog meat trade in the country. Dogs that have been rescued from being slaughtered for their meat were up for adoption at the event.

The sponsors were also in full swing that day, with loaded booths generous giveaways - and also adding the free services, really a great bargain considering the low P50.00 donation fee for registering in the event.

The event culminated with a pack walk around Centris Walk, with participants carrying placards to show support for AKF.

The event was a huge success. Of the five dogs that AKF brought for adoption, three dogs were brought home on the spot - giving loving homes to these dogs that were moments away from being killed for their meat.

Thank you to all the attendees and sponsors for A Kingdom for Hope. See you all at the next event!
