Pro Dog-a-Holic cordially invites everyone to Pour L'amour Des Chiens (For The Love of Dogs), a benefit dinner and banquet on June 1, 6PM at the Alabang Town Center

.

Animal Kingdom Foundation Inc., in partnership with Alabang Town Center and Paws & Tails Grooming Salon and Boutique, is holding the event for the benefit of the rescued and the homeless dogs. The night will feature great food, music, stage shows and other forms of entertainment with an exquisite European touch.

The sponsors of the event are Make & Bake, Pet Starz, Nutrience Philippines, Royal Canin Philippines, My Pet One Station, Silverstrand Commercial, Saint Roche Premium Organic Dog Shampoo, Happy Pets, and Pinoy Adventure Rider, Dairy Queen ATC Branch and Seafood Island ATC Branch.

PAMA Glow Fun Run 2014: Event Coverage

The PAMA Glow Fun Run 2014 was successfully held on May 26 at Venice Piazza, Mckinley Hill. Organized by the Philippine Alaskan Malamute Association, Inc., it was a fun-filled event that really brought out the athlete within all the participating runners and dogs!

Pro Dog-a-Holic was in full support for the event, which was for the benefit of the Animal Kingdom Foundation and the Cancer Warriors Foundation.

The booths that were set up around the event were numerous, featuring the event's beneficiaries, partners and sponsors. Everyone was at full swing, dedicated to the success of the event.

The start/finish line was very busy, with runners both starting and ending their run. Finisher medals were instantly handed out for both runners and dogs that completed their choice of distance of either 1K, 3K, or 5K.

During the program for the event, Dog Coach Francis unveiled a prototype for a unique kind of scooter that will promote "urban mushing." What's this all about? Stay tuned for more details on this exciting new project!

PAMA Glow Fun Run 2014

Pro Dog-a-Holic would like to invite everyone to...

PAMA GLOW FUN RUN 2014!

The PAMA Glow Fun Run on May 25, 5PM at the Venice Piazza grounds at Mckinley Hill will feature runners and dogs in different glowing colors, as we run for the benefit of the Animal Kingdom Foundation Inc. and the Cancer Warrior Foundation. The event is open to all runners and to dogs of all breeds.

Registration details are as follows:

• 1K - Runner & Dog Tandem - 600.00 (Neon Singlet, Entry Number, Glow Blings & Medal for both)
• 3K - Runner only - 500.00 (Neon Singlet, Entry Number, Glow Blings & Medal)
• 3K - OPTION to run with Dog Tandem - 600.00
• 5K - Runner only - 500.00 (Neon Singlet, Entry Number, Glow Blings & Medal)

Registration is still open. Onsite registration will also be available at the day of the event.

The event is organized by the Philippine Alaskan Malamute Association Inc. (PAMA Inc.), an affiliate of PRODOGS-CENTRAL Alliance (the official Facebook group of PRODOGS Central Inc.), in cooperation with Venice Piazza, Mckinley Hill. The event is also supported by PAMA's official partners: Nutrience Philippines, Merial Philippines, EzyDog Philippines, Herbalife Independent Distributor, Paws & Tails Grooming Salon and Boutique, and Dog Coach Francis.

Cosmic Con 2014: Event Coverage

Cosmic Con 2014 was successfully held last May 10-11. It was two days filled with contests, booths, performances - and of course, cosplay!

ICozplay Events Management spearheaded the event, in cooperation with Festival Supermall, Hero TV, Inquirer.net, Paws & Tails, Kia Motors, Sparkling Kawaii, and Naruto Cosplayer Philippines.

Pro Dog-a-Holic was at the event to promote two upcoming events: The PAMA Glow Fun Run 2014 and Pour L'amour Des Chiens (For The Love of Dogs). PDH members were also present to support the contestants of the Pet Cosplay Display competitions, one for each day of Cosmic Con 2014.

Luckily for the PDH bloggers, a special correspondent was gracious enough to cover the event with us. Presenting... KID BATMAN!

On Day 1 of Cosmic Con, Kid Batman visited all the booths that were put up for dog owners, as seen in the pictures below.

Aside from the booths for dog owners, there were so many other booths at Cosmic Con!

Kid Batman also joined the Chibi Cosplay Competition for Day 1. He didn't win, but he had lots of fun!

When it was pet cosplay's turn, Kid Batman became as excited as we were. For the first day, it was a Pet Only Cosplay.

PDH dogs strutted on the runway with their amazing and adorable costumes, with the winners taking the stage afterwards to be given their prizes.

On Day 2 of Cosmic Con, Kid Batman returned for the Handler & Pet Cosplay.

The contestants looked even more awesome than from Day 1, but Kid Batman didn't feel intimidated... He was just there to have fun anyway!

PDH member Chaochini Lozada, cosplaying as Capcom character Morrigan, took home 1st place!

Congratulations to all the winners of the Pet Cosplay Display competitions, and a salute to ICozplay Events Management for a successful two-day event that opened up the world of cosplay to Pro Dog-a-Holic. See you guys again at the next event!

Cosmic Con will be held on May 10 and 11 at the 2nd floor Carousel Atrium of Festival Supermall, Alabang, Muntinlupa.

This is the first cosplay event that Pro Dog-a-Holic will be supporting because Cosmic Con has a pet cosplay competition, one for each day of the event. The first day will feature a pets only open genre cosplay competition, while the second day will feature a handler and pet cosplay competition.

The event will be charging a very low entrance fee of P20.00. Support our fellow PDH members that will be joining the cosplay competitions!
