Doggie Day Up The Hills
Pro Dog-a-Holic held its first event of the year last January 25 at the Tagaytay Picnic Grove. Named "Doggie Day Up The Hills," the admins of PDH prepared an event for its members wherein both owners and dogs will enjoy the cool weather of Tagaytay, the company with fellow PDH members, and the prizes and giveaways that were up for grabs.
The event began with a potluck lunch wherein PDH members brought food to share with their fellow members. The food was overflowing and tasted great! During lunch, PDH members and admins got to know each other better as well.
The program for Doggie Day Up The Hills consisted of several interesting talks, exciting games and fabulous giveaways. Some PDH members had a bit bigger smiles on their faces after winning one of the many prizes that were raffled off or won in the games. The members enjoyed from the moment that the day started until the final moments when the goodie bags were given away.
It was such an amazing sight to see so many PDH members and dogs coming together in such a beautiful place to celebrate our love for our furry friends. We hope to receive continued support as we organize even more events for you, our dearest PDH members!
PDH would like to thank the sponsors for Doggie Day Up The Hills. You made such a successful event possible.

Social Petiquette
Our event on Saturday isn't just a time to spend with our dogs but also a time where we get to meet and bond with our fellow PDH members and dog enthusiasts. Here are some of the social petiquettes we must follow:
1. Scoop the poop
Leaving your dog's poop on the floor might lead to unwanted situation wherein other people and dogs step on it. If you don't want it to happen to you, make sure that you don't cause it to others as well.
2. Watch your dog
As your dog's owner, you need to be responsible for him or her. Always make sure that he is not in danger, or that he or she won't cause trouble to anybody else.
3. Remove aggressive dogs immediately
In case your dog becomes aggressive for whatever reason, the first thing that you should do is to remove him or her from the situation. If you allow your dog to stay, fights could occur.
4. Talk to other owners
Before you or your dog approaches another dog, it is best to talk to that dog's owner first. Find out if the dog is friendly towards other dogs and humans, and if it is OK for you to approach them.
5. Know your dog's signals
You should know your dog better than anyone else. Look out for signs that say that he or she is scared or angry. This will allow you to prevent any unwanted feelings and situations for your dog.
Social petiquette isn't an option - it is a must. Make sure that you know the proper ways and apply them always, not only in our upcoming event but also in every other time where you take your dog to places with other dogs.

Tips on Traveling with your Dog
Our PDH DOGGIE DAY UP THE HILLS is only less than a week away, and everyone is excited including our furry babies! As dog parents, we should consider their safety and well -being while traveling to Tagaytay and here are some tips on how we can have a worry-free journey with our pets!
1. Make sure your dog is healthy to travel. If going to the vet for a check up is not possible, at least make sure that your dogs vaccines are up to date and bring vaccinations records with you.
2. Bring along his food or treats and some bottled water.
3. Avoid car sickness by letting your dog travel on an empty stomach.
4. Make sure that your dog is comfortable in the car and that he's safe and secured at all times.
5. Do not leave your dogs inside the car unattended.
6. Bring sturdy leashes and collars should have proper identification tags with your dog's name, phone number and name of the owner.
Going on out of town trips are fun especially if you bring your loved ones - dogs, included. So by planning carefully, not only you can make your trip fun and enjoyable but also safe and worry-free for everyone!

the year right by sharing their blessings through our newest campaign, PDH
GIVES BACK. We will be featuring an
organization or group every month, through which we can share our blessings.
